1 VEHICLE MVC IN JACKSON TWP
12/30/10 2140hrs
Stations 8 and 12 (Millerton) were dispatched to a 1 vehicle rollover crash on Route
328 in Jackson Township. Engine 8-2 (C810) with 3, Squad 8-18 with 5, Ambulance 8-6, and Chief 8 (Strange) all responded.
Chief 8 arrived and reported a vehicle off the road with one injury, self extricated. Engine 8-2 and Squad 8-18 arrived
and were assigned to traffic control and A8-6 worked at the scene. Units remained on scene until returning at 2243 hours.
MUTUAL AID FIRE IN ELKLAND

12/26/10 1900hrs
Staion 8 was dispatched to a mutual aid structure fire on Box 3-02 in Elkland
Boro on Proctor Ave. Station 8 was due with SCBA personnel. Engine 8-3 (C8) with 5 and Squad 8-18 with 2 responded. Upon
arrival, the crews went into service with conducting overhaul and checking throughout the building with the thermal imager.
Station 8s crew worked on scene until returning at 2013 hours. Crews from Stations 3 (Elkland), 14 (Osceola), 18 (Nelson),
6 (Knoxville), 25 (Valley Amb), and Woodhull FD also worked on scene.
UNKNOWN TYPE FIRE - RECALL
12/23/10 0424hrs
Stations 8 and 7 (Tioga) were dispatched to an unknown type fire on the Buckwheat
Hollow Road in Lawrence Township. Chief 8 (Strange) arrived to report a small controlled burn and requested a recall for all
units at 0429 hours.

12/17/10 1552hrs
Station 8 was alerted to a 1 vehicle crash with unknown injuries near 1464 East
Lawrence Road in Lawrence Township. Engine 8-2, Ambulance 8-6, Chief 8-30, & Chief 8-60 all responded. Upon arrival of
C8-30 and C8-60, it was reported as 1 vehicle off the roadway with a bls injury. Engine 8-2 arrived and was cancelled.
Command then requested E8-2 to check the area of the Tioga River Road for a 1 vehicle crash that C8-60 had received a
phone call of. Engine 8-2 cleared the crash scene and went enroute non-emergency to check. E8-2 arrived to find
a vehicle off the roadway with no injuries and the call had been already been transfered from 911 to PSP.
E8-2 remained on scene until the arrival of PSP and the tow service. All units returned to quarters at 1746 hours
MUTUAL AID TO TUSCORORA WITH E8-3







12/14/10 0959hrs
Station 8 was dispatched with Engine 8-3 to 1377 Stewart Road in Tuscorora, NY.
Engine 8-3 (C810) with a crew of 5 responded. Upon arrival, crews from Tuscorora, Woodhull, Addison, and Lindley were operating
at the residential structure fire. E8-3 staged with the tankers and the crew went to work doing fire suppression, overhaul,
and assisting with the thermal imager. E8-3 returned to quarters at 1152hours.
VEHICLE CRASH - RECALL
12/10/10 1528hrs
Station 8 was dispatched to a vehicle crash with unknown injuries on Route 15 at
the intersection with Watson Creek Road in Lindley, NY. Engine 8-2 and Ambulance 8-6 responded but was recalled just a short
time later. All units cleared at 1537 hours.
2 VEHICLE CRASH IN THE TOWNSHIP

12/09/10 1638hrs
Station 8 was dispatched to a 2 vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection
of Route 287 and the School Road in Lawrence Township. Engine 8-2 with a crew of 3, Squad 8-18, Ambulance 8-6, Chief 8-60,
and Chief 8-30 all responded. Upon arrival of C830 & C860, it was reported as roadway partially blocked with 1 injury.
E8-2 arrived and went to work securing the vehicle and assisting EMS. Fire crews remained on scene to assist with traffic
control and returned at 1712 hours.
CRASH WITH INJURY IN LINDLEY |


12/08/10 1100hrs
Station 8 was alerted this morning for a mutual aid crash on Route 15 in Lindley,
NY. C26-01 (Hill) responded and requested Gang Mills Rescue 80 and Station 8 as the report was 3 vehicles with a tractor trailer
involved. Engine 8-2 responded with a crew of 3 and Squad 8-18 stood by at station with a full crew. Lindley units and
Rural Metro EMS arrived and to 1 injury, still in the vehicle. Both rescues were cancelled, but E8-2 continued non-emergency
due to the close proximity to the scene and unable to find a safe turn around. Upon arrival, E8-2s crew went to work and assisted
with removal of the patient from the vehicle and packaging for transport.
VEHICLE INTO TREE ON MAIN STREET
12/07/10 1812hrs
Station 8 was alerted to a 1 vehicle crash into a tree at the intersection of Main
and James Street in Lawrenceville Borough. Chief 8-10 (Scott) arrived and reported a passenger car into a tree with 2
occpants. Engine 8-2 (Capt 8-10) with a crew of 3 arrived and went to work securing the vehicle and checking the patients.
Ambulance 8-6 and 8-7 arrived and worked with the engine crew on packaging the patients for transport. Units remained on scene
while PSP investigated until returning at 1912 hours.
HELO ASSIST AT HMAC LZ

12/05/10 1619hrs
Station 8 was dispatched to assist Valley Ambulance 25-7 and Guthrie Air at the
HMAC Landing Zone in Lawrence Township. Engine 8-3 (C810) with 5, Ambulance 8-6 (C870), and Chief 8-20 (Ransom) all responded.
The engine crew set up the cones for the LZ and Captain Hackett was the LZO. E8-3s crew assisted with packaging and loading
the patient into Guthrie Air. All units cleared at hours.
AM CRASH ON ROUTE 15


12/04/10 0748hrs
Stations 8 and 7 (Tioga) were dispatched to Route 15 northbound at the Tioga/Lawrence
Township line for a 1 vehicle crash this morning. Engine 8-2, Squad 8-18, and Chief 8-30 (Windows) responded. Upon arrival
of C8-30, it was reported as 1 vehicle blocking the left lane with non injuries. Chief 7 arrived and established command.
E8-2 and Sq8-18 arrived and setup the lane closure while E7-3 and A7-6 worked at the vehicle. All units returned at 0857 hours.
VEHICLE CRASH IN THE BORO
12/03/10 1902hrs
Station 8 was dispatched to a vehicle crash on Main Street in Lawrenceville Borough.
Chief 8-10 (Scott) and Chief 8-60 (Rotsell) arrived to report 1 vehicle off the road with no injuries. The roadway and bridge
were very icey causing an additional hazard for responders. Engine 8-2, Squad 8-18, and Ambulance
8-6 all responded. Upon arrival of E8-2, flares were set up and the crew secure the vehicle. Units remained on scene to assist
PSP until returning at 2002 hours.
