STRUCTURE FIRE IN CATON WITH E8-3
08/30/11 1916hrs
Station 8 was dispatched for Engine 8-3 to respond to the Caton Market in Caton, NY for the report of a
structure fire. Shortly after the dispatch, law enforcement arrived on scene and reported no fire. All units were cancelled.
VEHICLE CRASH - NO INJURIES

08/29/11 0930hrs
Stations 8 & 18 (Nelson) were dispatched this morning for the report of a vehicle over the
embankment on Route 49 in Lawrence Township. Engine 8-2 with a crew 3 responded. Upon arrival, a single vehicle was found
over the embankment with no one around. All units were cancelled and the scene was turned over to Army Corp and PSP.
LIFENET 7-7 LANDS AT HMAC
08/29/11 0212hrs
Station 8 was alerted to assist LifeNet 7-7 and Ambulance 8-7 at the HMAC Landing Zone. Lawrenceville Ambulance
and Medic 1 were dispatched prior to the FD to HMAC for a burn victim. Prior to A8-7 responding, LifeNet 7-7 had gone enroute
to the landing zone and Station 8 Fire was dispatched. Engine 8-3 (C810) responded with a crew of 4. Upon arrival, the engine
crew setup the landing zone with the LZ lights and awaited arrival of 7-7. Once landed, fire and Ems crews assisted with loading
and all units cleared at 0308 hours.
MOTORCYCLE CRASH IN LINDLEY
08/18/11 0712hrs
Station 8 was dispatched for a mutual aid crash in Lindley, NY on Route 15 near the Presho exit. Squad 8-18
responded to assist. Upon arrival, the squad was cancelled by command due to a minor injury. Squad 8-18 returned to the station
at 0735 hours.
TRAFFIC CONTROL ON MAIN STREET

08/17/11 1937hrs
Station 8 was dispatched for a vehicle crash on Main Street, Lawrenceville Borough for traffic control.
Chief 8-10 (Scottt) arrived and reported 2 vehicles with the roadway open. Squad 8-18 with Chief 8 (Strange) responded and
positioned along Main Street. Crews checked over the involved for injuries and assessed for hazards. Units remained on scene
to assist PSP and the towing services. All units cleared at 2011 hours.
WEDNESDAY HELO ASSIST AT WHS


08/10/11 1149hrs
Station 8 was dispatched this morning to assist Guthrie Air and Ambulance 8-7 at the WHS soccer field. Ambulance
8-7 was at Thompkins Campground in Lawrence Township for a child fall victim and requested the helicopter. Engine 8-2
(C8) with 2 and Chief 8-30 (Windows) responded. Fire units arrived and setup the LZ on the soccer field. All units cleared
at 1231 hours.
ASSIST GUTHRIE AIR AT WHS



08/08/11 1313hrs
Station 8 was alerted this afternoon to assist Guthrie Air and Ambulance 8-7 at the HMAC Landing Zone in
Lawrence Township. Ambulance 8-7 was at a medical scene and requested the helicopter to HMAC. When Station 8 was dispatched,
Guthrie Air had an 8 minute ETA. Engine 8-3 responded with a crew of 4. At that time, G.A. reported that they were overtop
HMAC and were observing heavy vehicle traffic. C8-10 advised G.A. to fly south and check the Williamson High School soccer
field for an LZ. Engine 8-3 arrived at WHS and Guthrie Air had landed. E8-3s crew assisted with loading the patient and returned
at 1337 hours.
MUTUAL AID FIRE IN TIOGA BOROUGH



08/07/11 1527hrs
Stations 8 and 11(Middlebury) were dispatched this afternoon to assist Station 7 (Tioga) on Box 7-02 on
Pueblo Lane in Tioga Borough for the report of a structure fire. Engine 8-3 (C810) with 5 and Engine 8-2 (C8) with 2 responded.
Upon arrival the crews went to work with salvage and overhaul after the crew from Engine 7-3 knocked had down the room and
contents fire. Engine crews checked the area with the engine crew from Middlebury using the TICs. Station 8 cleared the scene
at 1631 hours.
